Welcome!

Remember the days when having a birthday party meant inviting a handful of friends over, playing games, eating cake and ice cream and just generally goofing off together?  Or how about our parents' dinner parties and showers where Mom always chose a theme and went all out with the decorations?  Everyone brought a comfort food dish and the cocktails were plentiful!  Home meant something different then and convenience was not even a consideration when entertaining.  Ahhh...those were the good ol' days!

Well, we want to bring those days back!  

Hello, our names are Gretchen and Heather.  We are two busy working moms who seek to bring "home" back into the party equation.  But we know better than anyone that convenience needs to be a part of that equation, too.  That's why we started this blog.  To offer thoughts and a forum for ideas about homemade celebration solutions for all busy moms.  We LOVE to entertain, but we like to do it in our homes,  utilizing things we've made that come from the heart.  Because family, good friends, good food and good times is what it's all about!
