Thanksgiving Table

We typically have a pretty low key Thanksgiving celebration.  With no family in town, the day usually ends up a quiet celebration just the three of us.  But this year, we have a couple friends who are going to join us.  So the idea of sprucing up our Thanksgiving table has stirred some crafty ideas in my my mind!  I thought I would share some inspiration I've found online!

1. Simplicity is key when you have an entire day of cooking planned.  Love the idea of using acorns and other nuts to decorate my table.  This table setting from It is what it is is beautiful, elegant and simple!

Dana from Made did a roundup of various acorn items, including some tutorials on making your own acorns, which would be cute for a table setting too.

And Martha gives instructions on how to make your own acorn napkin rings.  Aren't these simple but gorgeous?

2. This turkey napkin art would amaze any guest!  Find more information on Ucreate Parties.

3. Pears are another wonderful item to incorporate into your fall table.  Leave it to Martha to come up with this genius idea of using pears as simple placecards!

4. I love this random assortment of napkins and napkin rings from BHG.  Perfect if you don't have quite enough of one style for your large number of guests.

5. And for the ultimate roundup of Thanksgiving table settings, make sure to visit Tip Junkie.  She has 24 different ideas to share!
