Raspberry Lemonade Martini

Our Candied Lemon Drop Martini was such a refreshing cocktail that we couldn’t stop there.  So the taste of our deliciously sweet and tart Raspberry Lemonade Angel Food Cupcakes had me thinking.  What if this was a cocktail?

So we tweaked our favorite
Lemon Drop Martini, and this Raspberry Lemonade Martini was created.
Raspberry Lemonade Martini

  • 1 1/4 ounce(s) Citron Vodka
  • 1/4 ounce(s) triple sec
  • 3/4 ounces prepared Raspberry Lemonade (we made ours from frozen concentrate leftover from this recipe but fresh squeezed would be amazing!)
  • Colored sugar and edible flowers in pink or yellow
1. Cut a slice of lemon and rub the fruit across the rim of your glass to moisten it so the sugar will stick.
2. Dip the rim of the glass in colored sugar to coat. We picked pink sugar.
3. Combine the vodka, triple sec and the raspberry lemonade in a shaker with ice.  Shake well.
5. Strain drink into glass.  Garnish with an edible flower.

This would also be beautiful with some fresh raspberries floating in it! Try other kinds of lemonade (my store had pink lemonade and strawberry lemonade) to change up the flavors.  Make it your own!

How perfect is this cocktail for a bridal shower?  Speaking of, if you aren’t on our newsletter mailing list you may have missed our announcement. May is the kickoff of our new Friday series!  Every month we’ll announce a theme (May is bridal showers!) and the posts on Fridays in that month will be centered around great ideas for that theme.

We think you’ll enjoy this month’s series of posts whether or not you are planning a bridal shower – we like to keep things non-traditional and fun, so these ideas will be great for any get together with the girls.  So check back Friday for more!  And make sure to sign up for our newsletter – every month we’ll have a special email with even more ideas, just for our subscribers!

We’d love to hear what you think of this cocktail.  Is it girl’s night worthy?
